Florida Studies Week 23 - World War II two of the assignments for this unit (crossword, Think & Review) will be due Friday, March 9th, 2018. For the Let's Write exercise, students will be preparing a "Help Wanted" poster on their Ipads for a World War II factory of their own choosing. The students will design the posters with the intention to "hire" women to work for them in non-traditional jobs to help the war effort. This project will be due Monday, March 12th. (note: time will be allotted in class this week to work on all of the assignments).

-The “EROSION” homework is due Friday, March 9, on Canvas.
-There will be no homework assignment the week of March 12 so that students can review their study guide. If you lost your study guide there will be a backup posted on Canvas.

Science: Plants and worms quiz on Thursday, March 15, for all 3 classes. The study guide can be found on CANVAS (students, if you have trouble seeing it, you can ask me for a hard copy). Some of the material on the study guide will be reviewed the week of March 7 in class; some we have already learned.

Notes for the Week

-This week is the start of quarter 4!
-Wednesday folders will be sent home on Friday this week.
-Field trip permission slips should be returned for our upcoming field trip (next Friday, March 16). Another letter with additional information will be sent home later this week.
-The fourth graders are
excited to be doing patrols the week of March 19-23 while the fifth graders are
in Washington. Patrol schedules will be going home in Wednesday folders on
Friday and will also be e-mailed to you. If there is any reason your child
cannot work the day they are scheduled to, please let Mrs. LePage know.
