Social Studies

Florida Studies Weekly week 24 assignments (crossword, population graph, and Think & Review only) will be due Thursday, March 15th (note: time will be allotted in class this week to work on all of the assignments).


Spelling

Complete p. 168 from Unit 25 if not completed in class.
  


Science

-There will be no homework assignment the week of March 12 so that students can review their study guide for the quiz this Thursday. If you lost your study guide there will be a backup posted on Canvas. 



Spanish

Mi Casa Project due April 5. Begin to take pictures of the major rooms in your house.  Next week, in class we will begin to write our short paragraph for the description of our home.  We will also label furniture’s and appliances in class.  Make sure you take pictures or upload pictures.  Remember to follow the instructions.

Tests/quizzes

Math:  Quiz on March 15th covering adding and subtracting decimals, estimation and word problems.
-Quiz on March 22 (decimal multiplication)
-Test on decimals April 4 (LePage)/ April 5 (Mills/Zawadzki)

Social Studies:  Florida Studies Weekly week 24 test will be on Monday, March 19.

Spelling: Unit 25 test will be on Monday, March 19.  

Science: Plants and worms quiz on Thursday, March 15, for all 3 classes.  The study guide can be found on CANVAS (students, if you have trouble seeing it, you can ask me for a hard copy).  Some of the material on the study guide will be reviewed the week of March 7 in class; some we have already learned. Students can use their study guides on the quiz.  


Notes for the Week

       
      -We have our field trip to Tallahassee this Friday! Field trip permission slips should be returned ASAP.  Additional information about the field trip was sent home in the folders last Friday. 

      -  Wednesday folders will be going home on Thursday this week with report cards inside. 

      -Remember: next week is the fourth graders turn at patrol. Schedules for your child’s patrol duty were sent home in last week’s Wednesday folders and a copy was also e-mailed. If you need another copy please let Mrs. LePage know.
